Elyse F. Guidas, MPH is President of the YNPN Phoenix Chapter and serves as the Executive Director of Fresh Express by Discovery Triangle, a non-profit, mobile produce market that provides fresh, affordable fruits and vegetables and community health resources in neighborhoods with limited access to healthy food. An Arizona native, Elyse graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. Elyse has worked in both the private and public sectors where she has made contributions to disciplines including research development and evaluation, program management, and most recently, community and local food system development.Elyse is also adjunct faculty at the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health-Phoenix, where she teaches courses in the areas of budget and finance. She is a passionate proponent of health in all aspects of public service and works everyday to cultivate an Arizona that is resilient, robust, and equitable for all.
