This unique breakout session will bring you up close and personal with a diverse group of young, first-time executive directors who are leading successful nonprofit organizations in Portland, Oregon. Moderated by NGO consultant and social entrepreneur, Rebecca Channer, this interactive panel discussion will focus on several topics: the wide and varied career paths to becoming an executive director; the intuitive and learned knowledge required to effectively manage a growing organization; and the leadership skills needed to address systemic problems that act as barriers to equity in our communities.
